​Hi, welcome to The Student Journo's Playground! My name is Jamie Benjamin. I'm a student journalist and budding blogger, expanding my world one story at a time. "Sucking at something is the first step to being sort of good at something". I began this blog as a way to practice my writing, establish a presence within blogging and to display my work as a student journalist. Blogging gives me free rein to write about a myriad of things. My interests and inclinations lead me to writing about topics ranging from current affairs and hard-hitting issues to my opinions and hobbies(like chess, where I blunder mate in five,  but feel like Bobby Fischer while doing it).
